This building accommodates the industrial facilities of an agricultural equipment assembly company. The implemented structural system is a steel portal frame, braced with x diagonal braces along the secondary direction. The existence of an overhead travelling crane required the analysis of the crane runway beams and synecdochically of the building, under the crane induced actions, thus the acceleration, deceleration and skewing actions, the self-weight and the hoist load, according to the provisions of the EN 1991-3:2006.
