This industrial plant was constructed within the industrial area of Aradippou in Larnaca. A composite structural scheme was implemented for the main cereal warehouse. It’s lateral load resisting system comprises reinforced concrete walls, which also operate as retaining walls, so as to accommodate the lateral pressures which are induced by the stored cereals. The duo-pitch roof was fabricated with steel, planar trusses. Moreover, three steel-shell cereal storage tanks were erected, with diameter of 18.5 m and height of 27 m. Furthermore, two steel silos were constructed as well as a two-story reinforced concrete office building and some auxiliary structures
